Internationaler Samenversand

Im Botanischen Garten werden Blüten- und Samenstände zur Gewinnung von Saatgut genutzt.

Dieses Saatgut wird gereinigt, katalogisiert und dient der Aussaat im nächsten Jahr. Ein Teil der Samen wird für den Tausch von Saatgut mit anderen Botanischen Gärten und wissenschaftlichen Institutionen verwendet. Daher bieten wir alle zwei Jahre einen Samenkatalog im Rahmen des Internationalen Samentausches an.

The Index Seminum of the Botanical Garden of the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU) is available for a seed order by scientific institutions and other botanic gardens.

If your institution is not registered as an IPEN-member, please send us with your order the signed form „Agreement on the supply of living plant material” which is included in our Index Seminum.
